Our club, at Victor Valley High School, is currently putting together Christmas stockings for the elderly. The process of putting together our stockings included first, getting materials donated. Our librarian donated red and green felt material. Next, we traced and cut out the felt into the shape of stockings. Fortunately, one of our members' moms volunteered to sew all the stockings together. Then, we had all of our members contribute by beautifully decorating the stockings with various glitter holiday designs. We are currently finishing up the process of decorating, and filling with candy- which has also been donated by our club members. Stay tuned for how our event turned out when we go Christmas caroling and pass out our stockings on December 10th. (=
