Hello from the Great Northwest.

It’s less than a hour before Christmas here, and I thought I would take the time to express how I feel about the countless sacrifices being made by people like you across the globe. Being a veteran myself, I know what’s it like to be stationed overseas during the holidays.

My wishes for you include being aware of the fact that millions of people truly appreciate your service and that you will soon be home with your family and friends. In the mean time, realize that the job you are doing is essential for the security of our country and the future of the world.

So please take my message to heart when I say, “Your deeds are not taken for granted and you should be proud of all you do.”

Thank you, Merry Christmas and may God bless you.

Corresponded with a soldier in Iraq, I wrote him once, he wrote back, I wrote again and the letter was returned. Cannot remember his name, but thinking he did not come home. My heart aches for every soldier's family who suffers loss. I am grateful for all the troops do. God Bless and keep you all safe.

I'm a Soldiers' Angel and I get SO much satisfaction from volunteering with this organization. Right now, we have approx. 800 deployed troops who have asked to be adopted. Please check us out at www.soldiersangels.org. There is something for every age group to do. Let's show our brave troops we appreciate them!
