I commend you for being in your profession despite all the dangers it entails. It’s not easy seeing destruction and death. The upside of your job is that you also see the rescue of people and animals and posessions. Still, your job is very stressful. My friend in Southern California lost her home this fall to the fires. They left in a hurry and weren’t able to pull out all their valuables…when they returned days later they found their home burned to the ground. Totally destroyed. However, a firefighter had somehow salvaged her babies’ photo albums and had placed them in a neat pile in her driveway. a miracle. From a mother who knows the value of her baby’s photos — priceless and irreplaceable — THANK YOU!!! God bless you all.
