If you’re interested in being matched up with a US military service person currently stationed in Iraq or Afghanistan, check out http://www.adoptaussoldier.org. I have adopted 2 servicemen and am in contact with them through e-mail and snail mail. It is very important to me as a US citizen to support those in harms way. “Adopt a US Soldier” has made it easy to make a difference in someone elses life. Thank you to “Every Monday Matters” for reminding me that one person can make a difference.

Regarding little Hunter—- is there a possibility for a bone marrow transplant???????? Wondering about donor matching…. Thanks

  3. I just read your “Would you turn your b-day party into a fundraiser?” in the Dayton Daily News (Ohio). I noticed your suggestion to donate to Every Monday Matters Foundation, and that led me to your website.

I wanted to show you some pictures and ideas about your suggestion. Please take a look at http://www.spiralwishingwells.com/toy#birthdaypartyideas.

Our Wells have raised over $200 million for charities around the world, and we are encouraging birthday parties to do exactly as your article suggests.

If there is any way that we can work togther, please let me know.

Also, what is the source of your “Facts” paragraph. I would like to publish that on my website and quote the original source.

    Thanks

  6. Hi there… we (Sunrise Mountain High School Student Council) here at the Nevada Association of Student Councils (@ Spring Creek HS) and we were sitting way up in the bleachers. (great visit by the way!!!!)

Is there a chance we could get about 100 YOU MATTER bracelets? We’ll use them for the 1st day of school “welcome” for our teachers.

    Thanks so much.

I will be teaching a workshop at a national student council conferance in Dec. In fact, we will also have an every monday matters speaker there as well. I would like to share the personal contribution worksheet from the You Matters curriculum with my audience. I have used this activity with my students and I think it is a valuable tool that I want my colleagues to know about.

I will credit your organization and provide contact information. I really think utilizing the curriculum has changed my students lives–I want to share this with others! Please grant me permission to share this resource with other educators.

    Sincerely,

    Matt,

I heard you at the NAWD conference in Kansas City this past weekend. I loved your presentation. It is just what my students need. I am interested in purchasing around 1000 wrist bands. How much would this cost and do you take a purchase order from a public school?

    Dear Matthew and Kelly.

2 hours ago I bought your book in a random 2nd hand book shop in Fish Hoek (of all places), Cape Town, South Africa.
I’ve only read the 1st few pages of the book and I’m absolutely mind boggled!

I decided to start 2011 as the beginning of my ‘new life’. The irony is that I decided to start they year as a ‘go getter’ (or in your words; “Every Monday Matters” type of person) but I absolutely hate Mondays. LOL! But I’m sure next Monday will be very different with the help of your book…

I started a personal blog in the new year and I think it’s a must that I should continue my blog with the inspiration of your book.

Thank you for crossing my path in life all the way here in South Africa!
I shall keep you posted on my new and exciting journey in life!

    Much love
