I think you are an amazing guy! Cancer is frustrating, and don’t forget that you are allowed to be sad. Just keep fighting it and never forget how to smile.
Hi Mom and Dad,
You guys are great! The caretakers of cancer patients are truly amazing people. Remember that it’s not bad to ask for help, in fact, people want to help but they often have no idea of what to do. And also, be proud of your little guy!

I am praying for your family. I wish all of you the best of memories and good times shared. Hunter, you are such a strong and courageous little boy. Mom and Dad, you both have amazing strength too and I know deep down that you will always live for Hunter in everything that you do. You will bring awareness to this form of cancer. Lenore and Zen,

Hunter truly is a superhero! He is so courageous, and seemingly fearless in the face of so much adversity. I don’t know if I would have a fraction of his strength if I were in his place. He inspires me to never give up, no matter what odds may be against me, no matter what monsters may lurk around the corner. The world is truly a better place for having Hunter in it, no matter how brief his time may be here on this earth.

Your beautiful little family has been an inspiration to everyone who has heard your story. I can’t begin to imagine the pain you are going through and I know that there are no words that will ease your pain.

I want you both to know that if you have done anything these past three years you have proven the power of love. Your love is what gave Hunter his strength, love is what made your family what it is, love is what gave you so much joy despite all your suffering. You both have proven how strong your love is for your son and for each other. Without that love, you wouldn’t have touch all the lives that you have, you wouldn’t have this endless sea of love and prays that are washing over you from everyone who has been blessed enough to have heard about Hunter. Your love has kept Hunter going and going and that same love WILL keep you and Zen going. Please remember, you are NEVER alone! We are all sending our love across the universe to you, and always to Hunter.

Beautiful Hunter:

I am going to be praying, wishing, hoping, everything I can think of that might give you even a bit of strength more to keep on fighting, the way you have been. You are amazing, there should be a new word invented for how strong you are.

You are one little boy who is so loved by his mom and dad. You are lucky, blessed to have this love. Some children never see any of this, even when they live to be 100! But, you’ve had more love and kisses and hugs in 2 1/2 years..they’ll last you forever! I know your parents will be celebrating having you in their lives today with more bites to your little neck, and snuggles to your little chest, pinching of your little cheeks…you have a lot of love coming to you from all over the universe, and I hope this gives you strength to keep on being strong. Who would have ever guessed that a little boy like you would be able to do things that some grown ups can’t even do??? YOU are my superhero! ANd I only believe in heroes that are real.
