A pregnant woman was in line ahead of me at a yogurt shop. We were laughing about the way the store ‘in the spirit’ of Halloween, had decorated the cash register with ‘cobwebs’, had paper jack-o-lanterns decorating the place. Suddenly she said, “I’m going to buy your yogurt”. When I asked her why she said, laughing, ‘Pay It Forward’…then I told her about your website. My new friend’s name is Yvonne. How thoughtful she was.

My son used to struggle in so many ways. He had the wrong friends, did poorly in school, and was constantly in trouble. About 4 years ago I got him a mentor. I just felt that maybe he could relate better to someone younger than us, his OLD parents. It has honestly changed his life…and our relationship. Mentoring is amazing.
