OUR SCHOOLS MATTER

Our schools are broke and broken, and our youth are paying a steep price. We can no longer afford to sit back and hope that this is going to just fix itself. We need to do our part too.

The statistics are heart-breaking:
2,700 teenagers attempt suicide every day in the U.S.
70% of schools can no longer afford arts programs.
Only 48% of high school students in the top 50 cities in the U.S. actually graduate.
More than 60% of teens said that drugs were sold, used, or kept at their school.
1 in 8 children in the U.S. grow up not knowing how to read.

To silence this silent epidemic, we have launched a campaign called OUR SCHOOLS MATTER. To kick things off, we just hosted our 1st Annual “Party with a Purpose” at Smashbox Studios in West Hollywood. The event was hosted by Keisha & Forest Whitaker, Lyn Lear, and a bunch of our friends. This event is going to allow people to sponsor schools with our YOU MATTER Program.

The OUR SCHOOLS MATTER Program
We have developed a hands-on, service-learning, character-building curriculum that is based on all of the required standards and specifically creates awareness, generates change and results, and actively empowers kids to become the natural-born social leaders they already are. Most importantly, it teaches children how much THEY MATTER and implements our Y.O.U. M.A.T.T.E.R. Culture in their schools.

In less than a year, we have implemented over program in over 500 schools in 18 states. And, the results have been profound. The challenge is that budget cuts have made it difficult for interested schools to purchase and implement the program, and this is why we want to help. Our schools and youth need it. Your generous sponsorship will help to implement our program in schools that currently can’t afford it.

$1,500 equals 1 sponsored school. We will go in and implement our program and change lives with your generous donation. You can also suggest what school you would like us to have your donation benefit and we will do our best to have them accept your request.

If you can’t sponsor an entire school, then just do what you can. All donations matter and are tax-deductible.
