My child was in Ms. Lieber's class last year when this project was done and has one of the letters included in the article. We were very fortunate to have Ms. Lieber as a teacher. There are so many jobs out there that we take for granted (including teacher)! I hope these children can grasp the positive impact actions like these can have on a persons life. Thank you Ms. Lieber and thank you Raul.

This is a wonderful way to teach children to have respect for what others do for us on a daily basis, that may otherwise be taken for granted. Wish everyone would adopt this type of teaching. Maybe this teacher should teach adults...Love her way of thinking.

Positively moving. So wonderful to see a teacher thinking outside the box and inspriring her children. Its wonderful to see her exploring new ways of teaching.
Give her a raise!!

Thanks - this gives me an idea for the children (and maybe the adults, too) at church as well. One of my pet peeves is that no one at church seems able to pick up any paper - they leave bulletins and other papers in the pews and in general make a mess in the bathrooms.

Ah! That is so sweet! :) See!! It really only takes a second or a few minutes to really brighten someone's day. We should all be doing things like this!

This is so cool -- 2nd graders learning that everyone is important and that everyone matters. I'd like to have some adults attend Ms. Leiber's class :)

I Love this!! My Dad is a janitor at a school district, and it makes me think about how happy he would be if he got letters like these. Without janitors in schools (and everywhere!) we would be living in filth! They are so important!

Thanks for this story.
