EMM Launches YOU MATTER K-12 School Curriculum

For the past 6 months we have been writing our YOU MATTER K-12 School Curriculum. Seven K-12 schools from Stanislaus County, CA have been piloting the curriculum for 3 months now and the results have been phenomenal. These students have already had a significant impact on their schools, communities, and families. And they are just getting started. Now it's time to spread the word. March 1st marks the official launch of the curriculum. We already have over 40 schools signed up...and the list keeps growing. If you are a student, is your teacher on the list? ...

EMM IN JAIL…A SECOND CHANCE

Last week, I had the most emotional EMM experience I have had in the short year that we started.  I received an email from a judge in Northern California who was using our book in her Drug and Alcohol Rehab Program.  She has convicted felons "doing" Every Monday Matters.  Amazing.  The thought of convicted felons reaching out to make the world a better place moved me beyond words.  But that is just the beginning of it. YOLO MIDDLE SCHOOL MATTERS

As many of you know, we have written school curriculum for grades K-12.  We have been "testing" the curriculum with an great group of schools up in Stanislaus County, CA.  The pilot group of 15 schools has been dotting the i's and crossing the t's for us, and we are amazed at what they have already done.  Here is just one example from Yolo Middle School. EMM AND E&J GALLO WINES HIT THE COMMUNITY

Due to the many emails we have received from companies and employees, we have put together a corporate social awareness program.  It is a one day event that focuses on team building through making a difference. Just recently we were contacted by Ms. Lieber, a second grade school teacher at Cowan Avenue School.  Ms. Lieber brought Every Monday Matters into the classroom and shared the book with her students.  She decided to put a little twist on one of the days in book and have a "Thank A Janitor" Day.  Very cool. EMM Raises Money For Roosevelt Elementary

On Monday, June 9th, we "partied with a purpose" to raise money for Roosevelt Elementary School in Los Angeles.  Like nearly 80% of schools in America, Roosevelt has struggled to maintain any arts programs for the kids.  And budget cuts for education are not getting any smaller.  So we decided to help.
